In collaboration with Koopers, we were sponsored a spot at TCE Baby Fair to represent CPS Malaysia (CPSM). Being the representatives from CPSM, we were given the opportunity to attend to any inquiries relating to Child Restraints at Koopers booth. The fair was held in 2017, 29 & 30 July at Midvalley Exhibition Center.
Quite a number of parents had come and purchase child restraints at the booth, and we were there to advise, brainstorm and also encourage the parents to register for a car seat check. It is to help them to check and verify the child restraint’s installation. Good news was that Koopers had offered a complimentary car seat check to all the customers who purchased their child restraints during the baby fair. The car seat check was done at different time and venue that Koopers had decided on. Parents had to register for a slot for them first in order to get their child restraint checked by certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Advocates.
Car Seat Check
The car seat check in collaboration with Koopers was done in 2017, August 12 at Koopers Distribution Sdn Bhd, Shah Alam. We offered check slots from 9am until 1pm. All parents who came with Koopers child restraints were entitled to get free check, (thanks to Koopers for sponsoring), while others were checked with a minimal fee of RM15 per child restraint. That said, all the slots were fully booked and overall 18 parents had come to the check event.
It was indeed a great experience collaborating and in fact this was the first time we, CPS Malaysia work collaboratively with other organizations/partners. Thank you Koopers for believing in what we do and given this chance to further expand our experience and add work into our portfolio.
